Appearance: Sasuke usually wears a long-sleeved black shirt and a white pair of shorts. More recently, since he was allowed to by his father, his shirts have started sporting their clan symbol, a paper fan, at the back. He is taller and better fit than some kids his age, but not very. He has black hair that is usually styled in a certain ‘do, with the back spiked and two pointy bangs in front that reach just past his chin. He has black eyes that contrast sharply with pale skin that is only very slightly tanned.

Personality: Young Sasuke, unlike his future self, is a happy kid. Innocent, even. He wants to be a part of their village’s police force like his father and most of their family. He looks up to his older brother, Itachi, but is, at the same time, in competition with him for their father’s attention. He is not extremely friendly to his peers, even though he is the crush of almost all of the females, but that’s because he is often pre-occupied with training. He is not extremely stand-offish either and would entertain people so long as they don’t get in the way of his training and development as a ninja. He trusts his brother explicitly and is likely to do anything Itachi tells him to do.

Abilities/Strengths: Sasuke only has one technique worthy of note: The Great Fireball Technique, a fire technique his father taught him and he mastered quickly enough, gaining him the right to call himself a part of the Uchiha clan. This technique is powerful, but nothing more complicated than blowing a large fireball out of his mouth. His kunai and shuriken (ninja projectile weaponry) usage is quite good for someone his age however, and so is hand-to-hand combat skills.

Weaknesses: He’s just a kid, not even a nin academy graduate yet. Even though he has undergone training, Sasuke is far from being ready for war, both physically and mentally. He is bound to freeze up or run away at the sight of death or the prospect of getting killed. And despite his maturity, he is also rather easy to bait—just the slightest insult to his clan name can get him pretty riled up. His older brother Itachi is his biggest weakness. The older Uchiha is Sasuke’s life and the boy will do absolutely anything Itachi tells him to do.

History:

Sasuke was born as the second and youngest son of the head family of the Uchiha clan, a ninja clan renowned for their fire techniques. His older brother, Itachi, was a genius ninja and the pride of the family. As a result, Sasuke grew up in his shadow and was always aiming to be as good as his brother. But while he always got perfect scores in class and came out on top of everybody else, no one ever saw him to be as brilliant as Itachi. Even his own father did not recognize him. Sasuke wanted to hear the man tell him ‘just as is expected from my son’, a phrase he used often enough to note Itachi’s achievements, but only ever told him to work hard to become like his brother.

Despite the competition however, Sasuke was close to and very much loved his brother Itachi. Itachi, for his part, seemed to be the only one aside from their mother who saw Sasuke’s efforts in impressing their father and tried to shift the man’s attention to the younger son. While Fugaku Uchiha did start paying more attention to Sasuke, it was still Itachi, the expected next leader of their clan, that spent much of his time on.

After awhile however, people started distrusting Itachi. One of the more outrageous accusations (which turned out to be true) was that he killed his own best friend. Their father still defended the steadily becoming rebellious young ninja but began to lose the pride and confidence he held for him as well. This was the time he taught Sasuke the Great Fireball Technique. When Sasuke mastered it, he was told not to become like his brother.

One night, returning home late from training, Sasuke found members of their clan dead. When he reached his own house it was dark and quiet, but he could hear his father telling him not to come inside the room they were in. Ignoring the warning, Sasuke had thrown open the door to the room only to be engulfed in bright, white light.

He had been brought into econtra.
